Indian Smart Planter presents a Fully Automatic Organic Waste Composting System with Inbuilt Shredder, designed to process up to 100 kg of organic waste per day within a 24-hour composting cycle. This system is an efficient, on-site solution for converting food and biodegradable waste into usable organic compost in a hygienic, eco-friendly, and odor-free manner.

The machine is manufactured with a complete Mild Steel (MS) inner composting chamber and outer body, finished with durable powder coating for corrosion resistance, strength, and long service life. Its compact, modular, and aesthetic design makes it suitable for residential societies, hotels, hostels, institutions, hospitals, commercial complexes, and industrial locations without disturbing the surrounding environment.

The composting system works on high-temperature, microbe-supported natural composting technology. Advanced sensors continuously monitor and control temperature, airflow, and moisture levels inside the chamber. When organic waste is loaded, the inbuilt shredder reduces waste size, improving surface contact for faster decomposition. Any rise in moisture automatically activates the heating system, creating ideal internal conditions for microbial activity.

Special heat, salt, and acid-resistant bacterial cultures are used to accelerate composting. These microbes are added during commissioning and multiply naturally inside the machine, eliminating the need for repeated dosing and reducing operating costs. Under controlled temperature and aeration, the bacteria rapidly break down organic waste into stable compost. Excess moisture is converted into water vapor and discharged through an exhaust blower, ensuring dry compost output and preventing odor formation.

Within 24 hours, the system achieves 80“90% volume reduction, converting 100 kg of wet organic waste into approximately 10“15 kg of mature compost. As the process is fully aerobic, no methane or ammonia gases are produced, making the operation completely odorless. Controlled airflow and enclosed construction prevent pest infestation, flies, and rodents.

The machine is fully automatic and requires minimal manual intervention. Waste feeding is simple, and compost is automatically discharged after processing. Noise levels are very low, except during shredding cycles, making it suitable for use in residential and public areas.

A PLC-based control panel with standard industrial components manages heating, mixing, shredding, safety interlocks, and automatic unloading. Safety features include emergency stop switches, overload protection, and door safety sensors that stop internal mixing when the lid is opened. High operating temperatures destroy harmful pathogens, ensuring safe handling of the compost.

Only a simple rain-proof shed, basic electrical connection, and water inlet/outlet are required for installation. No major civil or rodent-proof infrastructure is needed. Even in the event of temporary machine stoppage, foul odor does not develop, as the previously loaded waste is already largely composted.
